The Public Floor Manager is responsible for cleaning and inspecting Public Area cleanliness and providing feedback to public space attendants and management.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:

 

Supervise the performance of room attendants and take appropriate action to correct deficient conditions, behaviors, and work practices.

 

Inspect all public areas and team member areas and assess compliance with all standards as they relate to cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security. 

 

Communicate pertinent issues with the Housekeeping Office and supporting public area supervisors.

 

Ensure all puiblic space attendants are documenting room calls, projects and assigned duties on their log sheet and the log is turned in at the end of the shift to the housekeeping office. 

 

Answer the housekeeping office telephone when needed.

 

Keep passkey or master key secure and return to the Security Office at the end of every shift.  

 

Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests.

 

Respond to guest questions.  Provide guest assistance, directions, and information as requested.

 

Provide instruction and/or guidance for guests and associate safety in fire or other emergency situations.

 

Ensure all attendants are trained and using equipment and chemicals properly.
